Mortgages for marina berths in Spain.
Over the past few years, a large number of our clients have asked us if it is possible to arrange a mortgage for marina berth purchases in Spain. Until now all of the numerous financial institutions, both in the UK and Spain, were not at all interested in providing this facility.
However, we have concluded several meetings with a well known Spanish Bank, who have confirmed to us that they will provide berth mortgage facilities direct to clients of Genus Marine & Leisure, and at normal mortgage rates.
This facility is currently only available for marinas on the Spanish mainland and in the Andalucía region of Spain. The length of mortgage will be closely related to the length of the berth lease, and the suitability of the applicant to meet the mortgage repayment terms.
